The University of Arkansas Community College at Hope will hold the 19th Annual Fish Fry on Thursday, April 19, 2012, on the College Campus. The event will be from 4:30-7:00pm and will feature local performers.
All proceeds from the Fish Fry will benefit the Hempstead -Lafayette County Single Parent Scholarship Fund. This year the funds raised from the event will be eligible for a generous match of up to $14,000 from the Arkansas Single Parent Scholarship Fund. These matching funds will benefit both the Hempstead County Single Parent Scholarship and the Lafayette County Single Parent Scholarship Fund.
Attendees will be treated to the usual great fried fish made with the Lions Club famous batter and fried chicken, courtesy of Tyson Foods. Entertainment will include an afternoon of local performers with headline entertainer Trey Johnson performing at 6:15 p.m. As always, there will be fun activities for kids provided by the UACCH Nursing Student’s Club.
