The University of Arkansas Community College at Hope is looking for the 100th student to achieve the Child Development Credential (CDA). Sandra Champion is the Early Childhood instructor at UACCH and is looking forward to the 100th student completing the Child Development Credential.
The Early Childhood program at UACCH offers the courses necessary to apply for a CDA Credential from the Council for Early Childhood Recognition, Washington D.C. UACCH has now helped 97 CDA credential recipients and are looking for number 100.
At the 2012 NAEYC Conference, CEO of the Council for Professional Recognition, Valora Washington, awarded the Council’s 300,000th CDA credential. UACCH has proudly contributed 97 and soon to be 100 Credentials to the Council’s record number.
At UACCH, the students who have completed the CDA courses are prepared to apply for a CDA Credential These courses are then recognized as credit towards an Early Childhood Education Associates of Applied Science Degree (AAS ECE).
