The U of A Hope & Texarkana Departments of Industry Outreach and Continuing Education and Funeral Services are holding the Annual Southwest Arkansas Funeral Services Conference. The conference is open to Funeral Service Directors and Embalmers to obtain their required compliance credits for the year.
This year’s presenter is Ken Whittaker of Whittaker Funeral Support Services, L.L.C. Mr. Whittaker has over 50 years of experience in the funeral services field and is a lecturer at numerous state, regional, national and international funeral service association conventions and seminars.
The event will take place on Thursday, November 5th, 2015 at Hempstead Hall in the Fulton Suite. Registration begins at 8:30 AM with the program to begin at 9:00 AM and to 4:00 PM – the conference will award 6 hours of credit. Topics presented this year include:
- Making the Best First Impression
- Does Your Service End With Final Disposition
- The Detailing of a Body and Just How Far You Should Go
- The All Important First Viewing
The cost is $50.00 per attendee, which includes lunch, door prizes at breaks, & recording of credit to the State Board of Funeral Directors and Embalmers.
