Frequently Asked Questions About Community Classes

When can I sign up? 

Registration for classes is taken until one business day before the first day of class if space is still available in a class. Since many of the classes fill up quickly, we encourage you to sign up early.

When do I pay my registration fee?

Enrollment is on a first-come, first-serve basis. Registration and payment should be made to guarantee your place in class. We accept different methods of payment (check, credit card, or cash) for your convenience. If paying by check, make check payable to UACCH. For a credit card payment, we will need your card number and expiration date. Please have the exact payment if paying by cash.

Where do classes meet?

Most classes meet on the campus of University of Arkansas Community College of Hope, 2500 South Main Street, Hope, AR 71801 unless otherwise noted. Where is your office located and what are the hours?

The department of Continuing Education is located on the UACCH campus in the Technical and Industrial building. Our fall and spring office hours are Monday-Thursday 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. Friday hours are 8:00 am to 3:00 pm. UACCH closes for all major holidays. Check the UACCH home page for holiday closings.

How do I withdraw from a class?

At least one day before the class begins, give us a call at 870-722-8102 or 870-722-8162.

What is UACCH’s refund policy for Community Education classes?

If you withdraw before the class starts, your money will be fully refunded.

My class was cancelled after I registered. Why?

Sometimes classes are cancelled due to low enrollment. We are sorry for any inconvenience this might cause and will do our best to assist you in altering your schedule. Be sure to confirm your classes before the start date!
