Business Technology Scholarships


Harlequin Scholarship

Dave and Judy Phillips offer financial support to a student seeking a degree or technical certificate at the University of Arkansas Community College at Hope.  The $500 scholarship, payable in two consecutive semesters (fall-spring; $250 per semester), is awarded annually.  Continued eligibility is subject to academic performance and other scholarship criteria as follows:

  1. Applicant must be a full-time student at UACCH (taking 12 or more credit hours).
  2. Applicant must have and maintain a college grade point average of 2.5. If applicant has not attended college they must be a high school graduate with a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.5 or obtained a GED.
  3. Applicant must be pursuing a degree or technical certificate (preference going to Criminal Justice or Business program student).
  4. Preference given to nontraditional student.
  5. Applicant must be non-Pell eligible.

 

Lance and Associates Scholarship

Steve and Cindy Lance and Lance & Associates Real Estate offer financial support to a student seeking an associate degree or technical certificate in a business related field offered at the University of Arkansas Community College at Hope.  The $1,000 scholarship, payable in two consecutive semesters (fall-spring; $500 per semester), is awarded annually.  Continued eligibility is subject to academic performance and other scholarship criteria as follows:

  1. Applicant must be enrolled in at least 6 credit hours at UACCH.
  2. Applicant must have and maintain a cumulative grade point average of 2.75.
  3. Applicant must be pursuing an Associate Degree or Technical Certificate in one of the Business fields offered at UACCH.


Willie Buck Scholarship

UACCH Faculty and Staff offer financial support to a student seeking an associate degree in the field of Business Technology at the University of Arkansas Community College at Hope.  The $250 scholarship is a FALL ONLY scholarship, payable each fall semester.  Continued eligibility is subject to academic performance and other scholarship criteria as follows:

  1. Full Time Student.
  2. Enrolled in the Associate of Applied Science or Associate of Arts program.
  3. Maintain a 2.7 GPA in Business curriculum.
  4. Student must be non-Pell eligible.
