Institutional Scholarships


UACCH recognizes academic achievement by awarding five types of institutional scholarships for graduating seniors: Chancellor’s, Valedictorian/Salutatorian, Honors, Achievement and GED. Individuals who meet the criteria for these scholarships are encouraged to contact the Student Relations Officer or Financial Aid Office for an application. Application priority deadline is April 15 of the year of high school graduation. For more information, please call 870-722-8228.

UACCH Institutional Scholarship Application

 

Chancellor’s Scholarship

Minimum qualification: Composite score of 25 or higher on the ACT.

Annual scholarship amount: In-district, $3,600 Out-of-district, $3,800

Chancellor’s Scholarships are available to graduating high school seniors only. The recipient must complete at least twelve (12) credit hours during the fall and spring semesters and maintain a minimum 3.00 cumulative GPA to maintain their eligibility for two consecutive years.

Valedictorian/Salutatorian Scholarship

Minimum qualification: Valedictorian or Salutatorian of graduating class.

Annual scholarship amount: In-district, $2,700 Out-of-district, $2,850

Valedictorian/Salutatorian Scholarships are available to graduating high school seniors only. The recipient must complete at least twelve (12) credit hours during the fall and spring semesters and maintain a minimum 3.00 cumulative GPA to maintain their eligibility for two consecutive years. (Note: For schools not declaring an official Valedictorian or Salutatorian, this scholarship is available to the students designated by the high school as the 1st or 2nd ranked graduate.)

Honors Scholarship

Minimum qualification: ACT Composite score of 21.

Annual scholarship amount: In-district, $2,136 Out-of-district, $2,286

Honors Scholarships are available to graduating high school seniors only. The recipient must complete at least twelve (12) credit hours during the fall and spring semesters and maintain a minimum 2.75 cumulative GPA to maintain their eligibility for two consecutive years.

GED Scholarship

Minimum qualifications are a composite 600 on the Test of General Education (GED) no older than one (1) year and no previous college experience. Recipients of this scholarship will receive an award of full tuition for two years of consecutive enrollment. The recipient must maintain a minimum 2.50 cumulative GPA for continued eligibility.

Note: Tuition for the UACCH Valedictorian/Salutatorian, Academic, Technical, and GED Scholarships is based on the cost of on-campus classes. Students who enroll in web-based classes may do so with the understanding that they will be financially responsible for the difference in the cost of tuition.
