Industry Outreach Classes
The Industry Outreach Department offers classes that improve businesses and industries in the areas of safety in the workplace, legal changes in the field, supervisor training and current worker skill improvement. Not sure of what you want to offer your employees? We offer customized training services to all of our clients to fit their needs and budget. Below are some previous course offerings.

The Division of Industry Outreach & Continuing Education at U of A Hope & Texarkana will be holding Operation JumpStart: First Step class at the Hope Campus beginning on March 10, 2015 and end on April 23, 2015. Classes will be held on Tuesday and Thursday nights from 5:30 P.M. to 8:30 P.M. (twelve 3-hour sessions delivered for 6 weeks [36 hours].)
The program is designed to allow you to complete a feasibility plan for your business venture. In other words, you will ‘test’ your business idea before you invest too much time or money. Registration fees for this class are FREE for the first 10 participants. All training materials will be provided. Please review the campus map below to find the location of your class.

Advanced Facebook – FREE! (2-25-15)
This course is a step-up from our Facebook ABCs for Business seminar. Attendees will be hands-on with computers and will be shown step-by-step how to create various marketing techniques for their business on Facebook. Attendees should have basic computer skills and already have a personal Facebook profile.
Web Store in a Day – FREE! (3-11-15)
Does your business website need an online store? Have you been held back by a lack of funds or a lack of technical skills? Then, “Web Store in a Day” is the hands-on workshop for you! You’ll be taken step-by-step through creating attractive, functional web store. All participants receive a free workbook with detailed instructions.
Minding Your P’s & Q’s: Business Etiquette & Professionalism (4-22-15, Administrative Professionals’ Day)
Good manners are good business, yet rudeness runs rampant! Do your employees project the image you want your customers to see?
