UACCH’s Phi Theta Kappa recently delivered pop- tabs to Ronald McDonald House

October 3, 2013

UACCH’s Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society had the pleasure of traveling to Little Rock this past Saturday to deliver tabs to the Ronald McDonald House. The Ronald McDonald House provides food, shelter, and a living environment for families who have a child at Children’s Hospital. The tabs that are donated help the house keep their doors open.

2013 will be the 11th year the Ronald McDonald House has collected pop-tabs as a fundraiser.  Last year the organization set and reached a goal of 10 years / 10 tons of pop-tops.  This goal was reached because of the participation in this fundraising effort by organizations like the UACCH’s Phi Theta Kappa from across the state.

Phi Theta Kappa delivers tabs every 6 months and collect tabs throughout the year. If anyone has any tabs they would like to donate please contact Jason Chism, Micheal Cox or Rachel Parson at UACCH.
